Musa Velutina A compact small banana growing to just 1.5 metres. Very cold tolerant here in Cambridge plants have shown very little damage in very cold weather. Will flower when only 8-9 months old and every year thereafter. A wonderfully exotic patio plant which if required can be moved to the conservatory in winter.   

Musa Raja Puri Very cold tolerant growing to just over 2 metres. Raja Puri can produce excellent flavoured fruit in just 9 months. An extremely promising variety which I am sure will become very well known. It has thick paddle shaped leaves with occasional flecks of maroon with hints of pink in the vein area. A great landscape plant for cooler climates.

Musa Acuminata dwarf Cavendish  A very popular variety used extensively throughout the warmer parts of Europe as a commercial crop. During the summer months in cooler climates it can be planted out or kept in a small tub. Height is only just over two metres and can also be kept in a conservatory quite happily. Cool tolerant but must be protected from frost.
